The aims of discipline "Biomedical Computer Systems" are: to study the principles of biomedical computer systems, to gain experience of using them in practice as well as to acquire the skills of their design. In particular, this course also enables the students to develop proper understanding of the mathematical methods used in modern biomedical computer systems and to apply these methods in practical work. This differs from the other numerous courses, which focus on the surface studying of different user’s interfaces of biomedical computer systems.
