Olena Semenovska completed an internship at Aalborg University, Denmark

Monday, November 20, 2023 - 14:20

In September, Olena Semenovska completed an internship at the University of Aalborg, Kingdom of Denmark. Direct speech:
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the academic community of Denmark and the wonderful colleagues at Aalborg University from the Technical Faculty of IT and Design!

This is an experience that I gained not only thanks to my work. This became possible thanks to the unlimited support that European universities and educational foundations, in particular those based in Denmark, provide to Ukrainian scientists. Their goal is noble – to shelter Ukrainian colleagues and help us continue our research work. I feel extremely blessed and supported!

Denmark fascinated me with its Viking history, Andersen's fairy tales, stylish architecture, cozy homes and, most importantly, its people. Their sincerity, kindness, openness and empathy is what makes this country truly special. Although there is a language barrier, their excellent command of English made our communication easy and pleasant. I felt like I was among my closest friends, an experience I will cherish forever.
Thank you, Denmark, for making my experience unforgettable!
