Course “Microwave devices-1" is a part of general program for Bachelors of Electronics. It provides second and third parts of the course "Microwave techniques". The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with vacuum and solid state microwave devices, study their principle of operation, and their basic design rules in the key areas of their use. Among the considered vacuum devices there are such as klystron, backward wave oscillator, traveling-wave tube, magnetrons, amplitron, devices with emission modulation, autophase and parametric devices.
