Oleg Panichev

He studied at the department in 2007–2013. During his studies, he began his scientific activity in the field of electroencephalogram (EEG) analysis and underwent internships in Dresden and South Korea. From 2013 to 2016, he worked on his dissertation on the topic “Prediction of epileptic seizures based on EEG analysis”.
Since 2010, he began working in industry in parallel with his studies, from 2010 to 2014 he was engaged in the development of medical signal analysis algorithms at the company Utas. Since 2015 and to this day, he has been working at the company Ciklum as a research engineer on projects related to machine learning, deep learning and Generative AI.
He uses his knowledge of digital signal processing to create electronic music under the pseudonym YI (listen).
