Quantum fundamentals of nanoelectronics

The course "Quantum Nanoelectronics basics" is variable part of an overall program of Master of Electronics from professionally oriented disciplines. It is a continuation of the course "Fundamentals of Nanoelectronics". The purpose of this course: to teach students to use modern methods of non-relativistic quantum theory of the ensemble of particles, relativistic quantum theory based on the Dirac equation in the electric and magnetic fields, to familiarize them with the methods of secondary quantization of the electromagnetic field and the field particles (with spin 0 and 1/2), the interaction theory of quantum systems’ and examples of their use to calculate simple nanodevices. An important feature of the course material selection - focus on the training of masters of electronic equipment.
