Methods and systems of telecommunications

Discipline "Methods and systems of telecommunications" provides training in development of telecommunications systems components. Knowledge and skills gained in the course are used in the preparation of master project.

General principles of communication systems are discussed in lectures, background and reasons of specific technical solutions are explained with examples of modern telecommunications systems. In the workshops students gain experience in modeling and analysis of telecommunications systems components.

Discipline is based on "Solid State Electronics", "Circuitry", "Field theory", "Electronic Components and Materials", "Microwave engineering-1, -2, -3," "Signal processing," "Design of microelectronic devices" and programming disciplines.
