Vacuum and Plasma Electronics
Discipline "Vacuum and Plasma Electronics" belongs to variable part of Bachelor of Electronics program.
Modern electronics includes complex science, engineering, technology and industrial production. Electronics as science concerned with the study of processes of production and interaction of charged particles with electromagnetic fields and matter in different environments (vacuum, gases, including plasma, solids, liquids), as well as developing methods for the creation of electronic devices for various purposes.
Great strides in vacuum electronics have largely been achieved through the properties of the medium - vacuum.
Studying "Vacuum and Plasma Electronics" discipline students acquire knowledge of physical principles, structure, principle of operation, the main characteristics and parameters, models, application of modern electronic devices to enhance the generation and conversion of electrical oscillations in a wide frequency range. Discipline considers electron beam, photoelectron and plasma devices.
The discipline "Vacuum and Plasma Electronics" is based on the following courses: "Mathematics", "Physics" "Materials and components for electronic equipment", "Quantum Mechanics".
In turn, this discipline is the foundation for the study of such subjects of the curriculum as "Physics of electronic processes", "Circuitry", "Microwave Engineering" and so on.
